Dr. Peers graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree Chemistry from Wabash College. He completed his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and his residency training at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

After residency Dr. Peers completed a two-year fellowship in surgery of the Hand, Wrist, Shoulder, and Elbow at the Cleveland Clinic.
