Let me start by saying Dr. Peers is an Amazing Ortho Doctor. He has done both my carpal tunnel surgeries on both hands, De Quervains where my thumbs had to be fixed, one trigger finger, and I have to have another trigger finger fixed soon. He is Concerned, he listens and dosen't rush, he is a very kind and proficient doctor. I have referred him to others and they have agreed. Slowly he is putting me back together again. Its Awesome to still find doctors who care like this.

I had a completely torn right rotator cuff surgery completed January 3, 2022. I could not be happier with the results. Dr. Sebastian and his team were awesome from my initial visit, to the surgery, through post op and physical therapy. This tends to be a surgery you hear horror stories about how awful it will be. I followed Dr. Peers instructions for a successful recovery. I was able to visit their office every 2-3 weeks to get physical therapy instructions and then do the majority of my therapy at home. I was chipping and putting golf balls by May and fully swinging a golf club by June. I am back to doing everything I was prior to surgery and without ANY PAIN!

Dr.Peers is very knowledgeable, professional and has a kind and caring manner. The support staff are friendly and efficient. They were able to schedule my appointments and surgeries without delays, even when I needed to change the date. I especially appreciated the therapy follow up after surgery.

I met Dr. Peers yesterday for an initial consultation. Prior to scheduling the appointment, I had researched physician profiles and patient reviews for many orthopedic surgeons in the area. I chose Dr. Peers because of his academic and professional background, having graduated with honors and completed fellowships at Cleveland Clinic in Ohio - which is highly ranked as a leader in the country for orthopedic care. Even more, I chose Dr. Peers because of how impressed I was with his patient reviews. And after my visit yesterday, I consider his Google Reviews spot on. Prior to meeting Dr. Peers, we had the pleasure of meeting Kat, his assistant. Kat was cheerful, kind and personable. It was evident, because of how warmly and cheerfully we were treated by everyone (or the tenor of the office) that the practice enjoys good leadership. Most importantly, Dr. Peers was as wonderful as his reviews described. He warmly greeted my husband and I. His smile was evident - even behind his COVID mask. He shared some humor in our introductions, which made us smile and was disarming. I’ve not met a doctor as personable. And that's uncommon with his qualifications. Dr. Peers was able to diagnose my condition with confidence, intelligence and professional, frank candor. He treated us yesterday like we were the only patients he had to see. He asked about us personally and even took time to compliment my work as an addiction therapist. My husband - who also needs work on his shoulder - has met with three different orthopedic surgeons from Franklin, Indiana to Indianapolis, but he didn't feel comfortable choosing any to perform the surgery he needs. Until yesterday. By the end of my visit, he chose Dr. Peers. I haven't yet asked my husband what impressed him most. But I’d guess it's a combination of things. 1. The trust we have in Dr. Peer's educational excellence, exceptional fellowships at Cleveland Clinic, and testimonials/reviews of his professionalism and practice. 2. His knowledge and confidence put us at ease. 3. Although his intelligence is evident, he treated us with a humble grace. And warmth. And humor. And human kindness. Having had to have two painful injections yesterday (in my thumb and shoulder), Dr. Peers' humanity made my visit so much better than it could have been. In a world where people are busy and unconcerned, I felt that Dr. Peers undoubtedly cared. I was nervous about the thumb injection and jerked before he even stuck me! Still, Dr. Peers apologized. He paused and took a moment to offer me time - if I needed it - to gather myself before he proceeded. Few doctors do that. Being a health provider myself, I know that time spent with patients is often monitored, with efficiency being more important than courteous care. Perhaps the reason my husband chose Dr. Peers yesterday was because he sensed exactly what I felt: a high level of intelligence blended with patience. Dr. Peers answered each of our questions in a way we could clearly understand. And he shared advice he didn't have to. He showed genuine compassion, shared comforting assurance, a caring spirit and he provided some physical comfort as he injected my thumb and my shoulder. I am thankful to have met Dr. Peers and I trust him wholeheartedly with my family's care. FOLLOW UP - 8 months later: Dr. Peers has performed my thumb surgery. The environment of the surgery center was peaceful and the staff (nurses and anesthesiologist) were very kind and helpful. Dr. Peers, that day, was as courteous and compassionate as the day we met him. His pre-op visit was comforting and my surgery was flawless. I could not believe I never felt pain. At all. Like, at all! If I hadn't seen the soft cast on my wrist, I wouldn't have known I had surgery. It's now healed and I have pain-free full range of motion, and a quite indiscernible scar. Thank you, Dr. Peers.

I had a rotator cuff tear that was retracted & had to have anchors placed to fix it, in addition to other issues. Dr. Peers did an excellent job repairing my shoulder. I was closely monitored after my surgery & was pleased with my progress & ability to return to normal.

I can't speak highly enough regarding my experience with Dr Peers and the rest of the staff with RHSI. From the initial consultation to discuss my injury through surgery and therapy, Dr Peers has made this process as smooth as possible.
